This year the tannenbaum trio sadly could not be reunited. But alas it's Christmas time and a tibb's show must go on! Come out on for an amazing night of Christmas jazz, dancing and friends and family!!! Your spirit will be sure to be brightened and we guarantee your heart will grow approximately three sizes.
Featuring an incredible lineup of local musicians this is not a night to miss!

The trio that brought you Charlie Brown Christmas is back at the Black Sheep to host a set of jazz standards and revised classics. There will be a set followed by an open jam.

Celebrating Canada’s Royal Conservatory with Peter Oundjian and Stewart Goodyear
Canada’s Royal Conservatory Orchestra, comprised of artists from The Glenn Gould School, makes its debut at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, performing works by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven with conductor Peter Oundjian and pianist and RCM Artist-in-Residence Stewart Goodyear. The 137-year-old Royal Conservatory is one of the world’s largest music education institutions and named the Glenn Gould School after the Conservatory’s beloved alumnus to honor his ideals of excellence and innovation in music performance.

Fantasiestücke!
This was a show I had hoped to do for a while. Since missing my undergraduate 4th year recital I have been dying to perform solo double bass music at home in St. John's NL. This recital with the incredible Stella Hui on piano, was my love letter to German romantic music. The program included the Tarantella by Simandl, Arpeggione Sonata by Schubert, Légende by Misek, and Fantasy Pieces by Schumann.

After a three year hiadus the Tannenbaum Trio are back to present for the fourth time Vince Guaraldi's original music from the classic movie a Charlie Brown Christmas. A night of cozy christmas jazz and all of the classic tracks from the film's soundtrack.
