Due to the ongoing high course enrollment (for which I thank you)
and my recent illness, I'm making the following changes to the
course syllabus:
There will be no project presentations and the course
project is now worth 30%.
Assignment #3 due date changed to November 18.
In-class exam #3 wil now be held on Thursday, November 26.

All requests for mark changes connected with assignments,
in-class exams, and course projects must be made to the course
instructor by 2pm on Thursday, December 11. Any requests received
after this deadline will be denied.
Course project proposals must be handed to the course instructor
as printouts (not e-mailed PDF or docx files) by noon on Tuesday,
November 4.

Interested in programming competitions? The first meeting to
set up a MUN CS programming conmpetition (with an aim to be part
of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Competition
(ICPC)) will be held at 5pm on Thursday, September 18, in
