Income Tux 2008 Spreadsheet for Newfoundland and Labrador

Income Tux 2008 is a spreadsheet based upon the Income Tax forms and schedules available from the Canada Revenue Agency.

It was developed on Ubuntu Linux v8.04.2 using OpenOffice.org v3.0.1 — earlier versions of OpenOffice.org may or may not be able to open the spreadsheet (Four pages are not rendered correctly in v2.0.x, for example). OpenOffice.org is an office suite that is freely available for several operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, Solaris). To use it, download and install OpenOffice.org from their site for free. Then download the spreadsheet, below.

Other spreadsheet programs which support the Open Document Format (ODF) Standard (ISO/IEC 26300:2006) should also be okay. (On Mac OS X, NeoOffice may be a better choice.)

Note: Income Tux 2009 is currently in development and should be available shortly.
