All NLJA registered club members may participate (including white and white/yellow belts, age 6 and older) if their coach approves. Registration cost is $10. All participants under age 14 will receive a participation medal if they don’t place. Standard Judo Canada tournament rules and weight classes will apply. The registration fee will be paid on Sunday morning at the tournament
If you wish to participate and haven’t already notified your coach you must do so by Thursday May 1 at the latest. Your coach will need your name, weight, belt level, and year of birth.
No walk-in registrations will be accepted so you must inform your coach by Friday at the latest!
If you are participating you should be at the dojo a ½ hour before the scheduled start time (i.e. 9 am for kids, 11 am for teens and adults). The dojo has very little seating space so spectators and athletes will have to sit on part of the mats. No outdoor shoes are permitted past the entrance of the dojo so do bring warm socks and sandals.
If you have any questions about this tournament do contact your coaches or me.
