Easter Eggs

Many programs have Easter Eggs (hidden messages, credits, cute thingys, etc...) placed in their code, viewable only after several obscure keystrokes, or hidden somewhere on the disk. Here are some of the one's I either found, or was told about.

One site that I have found a few of these, as well as a load of tips and tricks, is The Complete Tips and Tricks Homepage

And here we go...

IBM OS/2 Warp version 3.0

Credits

I stumbled on this one by accident. It is not nearly as flamboyant (or hard to get at) as Windows95's easter egg, but it is there nonetheless.

  1. Take a look in the C:\OS2\BITMAP\ directory, where C: is the drive you installed OS/2 on.
  2. Here you should find a file called AAAAA.EXE.
  3. Run it.
As I said, quite simple, but it works.
