To begin creating a movie or capturing an image, open the Tools menu and select Video Capture .

Now the Digital Video Producer Capture Tool screen should be displayed.

To create a movie, click the File menu and the select Set Capture File. Then just fill in the name of the file and the directory that you want the file saved in.

Next, select the File menu again and select Allocate File Space

Now the Set File Size should appear. Set the Capture File Size to 1 . In almost every instance, 1 is the best number to set this as.

Now go under the Capture menu and select Video . This is done when you want to capture the movie file. The program will record the images that appear the window. When you are done, press the Esc key on the keyboard. Now the file is saved as a movie.

To capture a single image, select the Capture menu, and then select Single Frame from the Digital Video Producer Capture Tool . Then the image will be captured. This is only done when the frame that you want saved as a picture appears in the Live Window box.

Now go to the File menu and select Save Single Frame . Enter the name that you wish to call the image as well as the appropiate directory. Now your picture has been saved.
