New Gower Street United Church
Originally, the first church on the site was the Gower Street Methodist Church in 1816. This church was moved to make room for a new church, which was burned down in the 1892 fire. The church that stand there today was opened in 1896. The church once had a steeped tower but, because of structural decay, it was removed in the
early 20th century. Presently, it is the New Gower Street United Church.
