Court House South(Waterfront)
The Courthouse was designed by architect W.T. Whiteway and built by S.M.
Brookfield and Company of Halifax. This building, made of local granite,
replaced a smaller building dating from 1849. Cleaning of the stonework was completed 1988 and now the building looks almost exectly as as it did when it was new.
