City Hall
Located on New Gower Street, this building was designed by Parkin Associates
of Toronto. This new City Hall was financed largely from a secret fund start
in the early 1950's. The building was offically opened in October 1970.
Right next to city hall is the 'Mile/Kilometre 0' sign of
the Trans Canada Highway and directional
sign pointing to centers in Canada plus Ireland.
