Paton College is near the middle of the campus.
On the opposite side of the Duke of Edinburgh free way
from the
computer science building
(S. J. Carew).
Its mid may and the trees are starting to think of spring.
Every spring the roads are repainted to make good the erosion of the
winter's snow ploughs. Notice use of traffic cones to stop vehicles
driving over the still wet paint.
The Duke of Edinburgh highway heads towards the
Avalon Mall in this direction.
Whilst in the other direction it goes to the newfoundland parliament.
The small lake is in front of Janeway hospital.
It drains into Longpond (behind the Computer Science building) and
becomes Rennie's River.
